D-Link DWR-116 – Description
3G/4G LTE Wi-Fi Router
Flexible Mobile Connectivity:
D-Link DWR-116 4G LTE Wi-Fi Router enables wireless Internet access by connecting a 4G LTE or 3G USB modem. It then shares the mobile broadband connection over a Wireless N 300 network, making it easy to create a wireless hotspot wherever mobile signals are available.
Portable Internet Sharing:
Ideal for users on the move, this router supports global mobile broadband sharing. Just plug in a compatible 4G LTE, HSPA+, HSUPA, HSDPA, or UMTS USB modem to broadcast a secure, high-speed wireless signal using Wireless N 300 technology, which offers better speed and range than older Wi-Fi standards.
Consistent Internet Access with Failover Support:
A built-in 10/100 Ethernet WAN port lets you connect a DSL or cable modem for primary or backup Internet access. With automatic failover, the router switches to the 4G/3G connection if the main WAN link fails. Quality of Service (QoS) features help prioritize important traffic for optimal performance.
Fast and Reliable Wireless Performance:
The DWR-116 leverages high-speed 4G LTE capabilities and Wireless N 300 technology to deliver fast and stable Wi-Fi connections. Wireless devices can connect at speeds of up to 300 Mbps, with improved range and reliability thanks to the 802.11N standard.
Robust Network Protection:
To keep your network secure, the router supports WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. A simple press of the WPS button allows secure connections to new devices. Dual-active firewalls (SPI and NAT) help block unauthorized access and protect against online threats.
Easy Setup and Versatile Use:
Designed for quick and easy setup, the DWR-116 is perfect for temporary or mobile network needs. The user-friendly setup wizard helps get you connected in minutes. It’s an excellent solution for vehicles like buses, trains, and boats, enabling Internet access while on the move.
